Why choose LaPTechS for support services?

Affordable quality support, experienced staff, and convenience. We provide quality administrative and technical support services, at non-retail prices. See the complete breakdown of the services we offer (more are added as they become available).

We have several years combined computer and technical support experience. Systems and equipment serviced by us at our repair facility will benefit from this cumulative knowledge and expertise. Our repair facility is also protected from ESD and power failures.

How competitive are your rates with retail repair shops?

We charge much less than retail and we give you this information up front. We have far less overhead than retail shops due to our small yet extremely experienced team.

This translates into savings which we pass on to you, the customer. We'll also get your approval for any additional parts and/or services we recommend or are required for completion and we'll give you the option of choosing between either cost effective online suppliers or local retail stores. This means no hidden charges and no surprises.

What is involved in the computer service process?

Just think of us as computer mechanics for your technology. Simply give us a call to set up an initial appointment. If you're an end-user, we'll provide you with instructions regarding our policies and drop-off location.

If you have a school, non-profit, or business in need of technical support services, we can arange for a first time on-site evaluation. Either way, we'll get things started by assessing the problem and developing a first time, follow-up, or recurring service plan.

Do you provide website development services?

We currently do not provide website development as a regularly offered service. Our website was developed by a former technical lead of LaPTechS and is based on a licensed dynamic HTML website template. We do maintain our own website and update it as often as possible. We may add website development as part of the services we offer in the future.

How can I check on my work order status?

We are currently implementing a system where you can check on your work order status anytime. In the meantime, just give us a call or send us an email and and we'll give you an update.

What are your policies regarding my personal data?

We take every precaution to safeguard your personal data and fully respect the privacy of your personal data. We do highly encourage you to make a complete backup of your personal data before starting a service if applicable (we can also do this for you if requested). Can I be automatically notified whenever something changes on your website?

Absolutely! You can follow the latest developments on our website and from our company by subscribing to our RSS Feed using your web browser, most email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, or an RSS reader such as FeedDemon. An RSS Feed link can also be found at the top of the page and the Latest News link at the bottom of the page. You can also use the RSS button on the toolbar area of most web browsers.
